Trust Sunshine Coast insurance brokers for Your Travel Insurance Needs
Getting appropriate travel insurance cover calls for careful consideration and planning. As it turns out, though, many Aussies aren’t that well-versed in this insurance product. According to comparison site Mozo.com.au, a lot of Australians unknowingly pay up to triple what they should pay for travel insurance, mainly by booking directly with airlines or travel agents. The report was released after Mozo collected quotes from 57 travel insurance providers from 133 different international policies in order to find the best (and worst) options. What they found out was that Aussies aren’t putting enough effort into finding the best insurance deals.

Optimising Sites for Mobile: No Longer Optional
With mobile
web access overtaking desktop, it seems that “web design for mobile” should simply
be “web design”. Design that does not take the mobile experience into account
is just plain suicidal. Here are some tips on how to optimise your site for
mobile devices.
Keep it Simple
A
minimalist approach is highly recommended for both mobile websites and apps.
Scrap the fancy 3D effects; a flat design makes it easier for users to
comprehend your content and the functions in your website.
Make it Fast
If your
site takes too long to load, then you are bound to drive users away. Remember
that mobile web is generally slower than web browsing through fibre optic
cables. Keep the mobile site load speeds short. Take it a step further by only
including media when necessary and using images with small file sizes.
Go Responsive
Responsive
web design (RWD) has been around for over a decade now but has only gained
greater significance in recent years. Choosing RWD is not just about making a
site equally optimal for viewing and use in mobile and desktop. It also allows
your site to cope with the fact that mobile devices also have varying screen
sizes.

Nostalgia Marketing: A New SEO Trend to Utilise
There’s a new
(or is it old?) trend abuzz in the world of SEO called “Nostalgia Marketing”. This
clever strategy brings the old classics back to appeal to the sympathies of
customers; call it a throwback if you will. That probably explains why the
throwback trend in social media is such a hit. Therefore, it’s a good thing to
get into now and incorporate into your own marketing strategies. SEO services
such as content creation and social
media marketing can easily be aligned with this new trend.
The Power of Nostalgia
Whatever triggers
nostalgia for you, one thing is clear: It is a powerful emotion. Used correctly,
nostalgia can be a great marketing tool.
Content
Your company has
a rich history, so you might want to let your customers in on it. This approach
makes your brand seem more relatable and not just some formless entity. It is
also a good strategy for creating blogs or articles for your website. For
example, if you own a restaurant, you can publish blogs about popular homemade
recipes with a twist to attract a considerable number of visitors to your website
AND your establishment.
Social Media
Nostalgia is
also big in social media, as you may have noticed. Posting throwback pictures
or videos as well as other content that appeal to your target market can gain
you new followers.
